What’s the deal with the weather in Cape Town? I’ve been walking in the gentle drizzle for the past two mornings. The air is fresh and invigorating, which clears my mind and reminds me how fortunate we are to have rain while staying in one of the most stunning cities in the world.

Day 3

After four days of walking, I feel truly revitalized. I admit I’ve been a bit lazy over the last three weeks with Warrie around. Now, I’m embracing movement with purpose rather than just leisurely strolling in the garden. I’ve chosen not to set an alarm in the mornings. While daily walking may eventually wear me out, for now, I’m waking up at 4:45 AM. It feels early, but by the time I return home at 6:00 AM, I’m bursting with energy, brimming with ideas, and fully prepared to seize the day.

The wisdom behind those early-morning quotes is undeniable!

“Every morning, you have two choices: continue to sleep with your dreams or wake up and chase them.” – Arnold Schwarzenegger

I had a question about multivitamins. I firmly believe that the food I consume is my primary source of energy and nutrients. I invest considerable effort into growing our own vegetables; I know the seeds, the soil, the fertiliser, and what becomes of our harvest.

Yet, in a world changing rapidly, chemicals linger in the air, potentially leading to health issues.

That’s why I rely on my favourite vitamins:

Day 4

**Ashwagandha:**

– Reduces stress and anxiety.
– Alleviates sleeplessness and fatigue.
– Lowers cortisol levels (the stress hormone).

**Reishi mushroom supplements:**

– Strengthens my immune system.
– Enhances anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
– Supports brain health by preventing cell death and promoting integrity.

Incorporating these supplements into my routine not only complements my healthy lifestyle but also helps me navigate this fast-paced world with confidence and an extra bounce in my step,

I will see you tomorrow on the walk again
