Natalie is an avid “Green Fingers” advocate who believes in teaching all, especially young children, how to grow their vegetables.
Her journey started while working in the food industry when she experienced the value of fresh ingredients. She took her 14 years of experience in the Greenhouse industry and started Greenroots SA in 2018 offering a wide range of products and services. With every project being unique, they create a plan, install raised beds, vertical growers, and install Grow Tunnels.

Greenroots-SA is committed to sustainability and food security. Frequently news articles and research papers are raising the alarm over the increasing numbers of households with inadequate access to food, not only in South Africa but globally.
Working with NGO’s and government programmes, Greenroots has helped establish some thriving school and community gardens that not only provides much needed food for kitchens, but also the opportunity for learning. They emphasize the importance of teaching the community, especially children, about sustainably growing fresh produce destined for either the kitchen or informal markets for extra income.
